WHERE IT ALL COMES TOGETHER
Ridge Road Studio is the creative home of artists Peter and Lisa Doroh—a place where paintings, pottery, stories, and handmade objects are created side by side.
Some things begin with a brush. Others with clay, an old drawing, a strange idea, or something we simply couldn't resist making.
ONE STUDIO.
A LOT OF IDEAS.
Ridge Road Studio was never really planned as one thing. It grew out of years of making—Peter at the easel, Lisa at the pottery wheel, ideas sketched on scraps of paper, things collected because they were too interesting to leave behind, and projects that somehow turned into something more.
Over time, those separate creative threads began to overlap. Fine art became characters and stories. Clay became useful objects with a little personality. A shared love of old things, good craftsmanship, and making by hand became the common thread.
THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE WORK
Two makers. Different disciplines. A shared tendency to keep making things.
PETER DOROH
Painter · Illustrator · Educator
Peter is a painter, illustrator, and longtime art educator whose work moves between highly finished oil paintings, looser studio studies, drawing, and the slightly strange world of Poe & Ash. He is usually happiest with a brush in his hand and another painting already forming in his head.
LISA DOROH
Potter · Maker · Collector
Lisa works in clay, collects old things, and is usually the one turning a passing idea into the next Ridge Road project. Her pottery is functional, imperfect in the best way, and made to feel like something you might discover rather than something mass produced.
