Two old friends. One slightly unusual world.
Poe is a skeleton. Ash is a black cat. Together, they inhabit a world of old houses, quiet towns, strong coffee, good bourbon, flea-market finds, and the occasional questionable idea.

Things move a little slower around here.
Poe and Ash have been friends for a long time. They live in a small town where the river runs behind the house, the record store is never too far away, and there’s usually something interesting waiting at the next flea market.
Their days are filled with painting, coffee, old records, projects that take longer than expected, and the occasional trip into town. Nothing particularly extraordinary happens here—and that’s sort of the point.

Poe appreciates the important things: strong coffee, old records, a good cigar, and arriving before the crowds. A painter and habitual tinkerer, he’s curious, quietly competitive, and always convinced the next flea-market table might be hiding something worth bringing home.

Ash prefers a slower start to the day. Curious, sarcastic, and occasionally suspicious, he has a talent for finding trouble—and an even better talent for acting like it wasn’t his idea. He’s street-smart, fiercely loyal, and usually nearby when Poe’s latest project gets interesting.
LIFE AROUND HERE
No rush. No grand plan. Just the usual.
Most days are pretty ordinary. Coffee on the porch. A little painting. A project in the shed. A walk into town. Maybe a stop at the record store or brewery. Weekends might mean an estate sale, a flea market, or taking the kayaks out on the river.
Poe usually has a plan. Ash usually has a better idea.

Poe & Ash began at the easel. What started as a pair of characters in Peter’s paintings gradually became something larger—a place, a friendship, and a collection of stories that continues to grow with every new piece.
